Delete my account
Submit a request to delete your Delv Express / Delv Partner account and the personal data tied to it. We respond within seven (7) days and complete standard deletion within thirty (30) days, subject to retention obligations under Indian tax, company and consumer-protection law.
What gets deleted
- your account profile, contact details and login credentials;
- your KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence) and the KYC photos;
- app preferences and saved settings;
- marketing-consent records and subscription state.
What we keep (statutory retention)
We are required by law to retain certain records even after account deletion:
- Shipment, invoice and tax records — eight (8) years (Companies Act 2013 §128, GST Act §36, Income-tax Act 1961).
- Payout / TDS records for Delivery Partners — seven (7) years post-deactivation (Income-tax Act §44AA, claim-defence).
- Aadhaar disclosures required by a court or regulator — for the statutory minimum specified in the order.
- Records of the deletion request itself — to evidence compliance.
Retained data is moved to legal-hold storage and is not used for any other purpose.
How it works
- Submit the form (or email us). Your request is recorded with a reference number.
- We acknowledge in writing within seven (7) days at the email address you provide.
- Before anything is deleted, our team verifies the request with you on the registered mobile number.
- Standard deletion completes within thirty (30) days of verification, and you receive a confirmation.
Inside the app
If you have the Delv Partner app installed, you can also delete your account from Profile → Legal → Delete my account.
