Delete my account
Submit a request to delete your Delv Express, Lekhia (earlier called Neev) or Delv Express Partner account and the personal data tied to it — including an employee account provisioned through Lekhia. We acknowledge within forty-eight (48) hours and complete standard deletion within thirty (30) days, subject to retention obligations under Indian tax, company and consumer-protection law.
Which apps does this cover? Delv Express, Lekhia (earlier called Neev) and Delv Express Partner. If you use the Lekhia app (Android package com.delvexpress.people), submit this same form — your deletion request is handled through the process below.
What gets deleted
- your account profile, contact details and login credentials;
- your KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence) and the KYC photos;
- app preferences and saved settings;
- marketing-consent records and subscription state.
What we keep (statutory retention)
We are required by law to retain certain records even after account deletion:
- Shipment, invoice and tax records — eight (8) years (Companies Act 2013 §128, GST Act §36, Income-tax Act 1961).
- Payout / TDS records for Delivery Partners — seven (7) years post-deactivation (Income-tax Act §44AA, claim-defence).
- Payroll and employment records for Lekhia employee accounts — for the period Indian law requires (Income-tax Act §44AA, Companies Act 2013 §128, and applicable labour law), even after your Lekhia app access ends. Your face template is not part of this retained record — see "Lekhia (employee accounts)" below.
- Aadhaar disclosures required by a court or regulator — for the statutory minimum specified in the order.
- Records of the deletion request itself — to evidence compliance.
Retained data is moved to legal-hold storage and is not used for any other purpose.
How it works
- Submit the form (or email us). Your request is recorded with a reference number.
- We acknowledge in writing within forty-eight (48) hours at the email address you provide.
- Before anything is deleted, our team verifies the request with you on the registered mobile number.
- Standard deletion completes within thirty (30) days of verification, and you receive a confirmation.
Inside the app
If you have the Delv Express Partner app installed, you can also delete your account from Profile → Legal → Delete my account.
Lekhia (employee accounts)
Lekhia accounts are provisioned by HR for employees of Delv Express, not self-registered — so the deletion route is different from a Customer or Delv Express Partner account.
- Request deletion through your HR contact, or by writing to admin@delvexpress.com from your registered e-mail address.
- Your face template (used for face-attendance, see Privacy Policy section 3.8) is deleted on request at any time while employed, and automatically as part of final settlement when you leave the organisation.
- Employment records — including payroll and other statutory records — are retained for the periods Indian law requires, even after your Lekhia app access ends. We do not delete records the company is legally required to keep.
